LONBOI* MEMBER HONOURED
(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) GISBORNE, this day. The presentation of a miniature shield of life membership was made by former club mates of the Gisborne Rowing Club at a gathering to Mr. W. Barrington Miller, of London, in recognition of his valued interest in the club for 50 years. The presenation was made by the" club captain, Mr. G. H. Sceate; and old members, who recalled Mr. Miller's active association -with rowing as a club member. Those associated with the evening were Messrs. J. C. Wauchop, C. O. Hansen, H. E. Bright. H. E. Maude, G. Holmes, G. T. Bull, J. J. Martin and A. Kirk. Mr. C. W. Muir presided.
