R. Smith (Kelburn) by a single point. When W. H. Tongue (Rocky Nook) beat it in post-section play, again a point was the difference, but A. Persons (Ponsonby) took the second life by a margin of 21. From left the players are: P. Sonde, A. Sunde, M. Marinovich and M. M. Sunde (skip, who is a cousin of the two brothers).
