FALLING PRICES.
| LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE. DRIFT OF CAPITAL ABROAD. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, January 27. The etock market* at the end of the week were unquestionably in a sensitive position. Brokers faced Continental selling which has progressively lowered quotations resulting in prices falling disproportionately to the volume of selling. War loan lost 10/3 to £96 15/, and Colonials suffered from scattered selling but firmed later. German and other European bonds recovered somewhat after heavy selling on Monday. The drift of from London continues. NEW YORK EXCHANGE. (Received 1 p.m.) NEW YORK. January 27. To-day'a turnover on the New York Stock Exchange was 1,050,000 shares.
