WEATHER FORECAST. FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist iMued to the " Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to a* far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Moderate northerly to north-easterly winds. Weather cloudy, mild and humid, with some mist in placee and later some soattered rain. Seas slight to moderate, but rising somewhat on the east coast. An anti-cyclone covers the southern portion of the Tasman Sea, while a depression is advancing across the central portion. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, north-east, moderate; sea, moderate; weather, overcast, with thick haze; visibility, fair; barometer, steady.
