WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following apeoial weather forecast for the Auckland province to ae far aouth as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to freah eouth-weaterly winds, later becoming variable. Some isolated light raina are possible, but the weather for the most part will be fair to One and mild. Beae alight to moderate. A weak depression is moving away to the east and barometers are rising generally in the Dominion, but conditions are disturbed off the New South Wales coast. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf wae received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-south-weet, fresh; sea, rough; weather, One, but hazy; visibility, moderate; barometer, rising.
