mSCBMT MOURE CRIME. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) GISBORNE, this day. Although inquiries have been made by the police in the various districts concerned, only two of the live registered letters which were sent to Gisborna in the mail bags were removed. from a truck on More re Hill early this month have so far been traced back to,the senders. These two letters came from [the Hastings and Pahiatua districts. - Three remaining letters which the police are endeavouring to trace bsck to the senders are No. 182, Waipukurau to Gisborne, No. 14)24, Wanganui to Motubora and No. 808, Dannevirke to Gisborne. It will be remembered tnat two u three days after the robbery, an open firs was found a few yards away from! the Morere Hill road, and here the police discovered remains of the missinr ■bag and charred mail.
