SIMPLE SIMON!
After wandering three times round the world, bicycling, walking and canoeing, in search of adventure and an "ideal" wife, a thirty-three-year-old New Zea lander, Gilbert Simon, has arrived in Singapore, says Reuter. Simon ran away from home when he was seventeen to join a full-rigged sailing ship. In every country he looked for his ideal wife, but he has not yet found her. "Girls want to settle down and stay in one place when they marry," said Simon in an interview. "That's the trouble." His "ideal girl?"— One "with-the-wanderlust."
