EXCELLENT FISHING.
PUTARUBU DISTRICT. (From Our Own Correspondent.) PUTARURU, Wednesday. Increasing .numbers of anglers from all parts of the Waikato district are taking advantage of the fine fishing available in waters within easy distance of -Putaruru. With the Waihou, Pokaiwhenua, Oraka, Little Waipa and Xgutuwera streams offering good fishing, sportsmen are well served. Mr. R. W. Cook, who, for the prat six and a half years has been manager of Spears Garage, Ltd., Putaruru, will leave next week to take over the management of the Okoroire Hot Springs Hotel. Mr. S. Haworth, manager of the company's Tokoroa branch, will 'be Mr. Cook's successor in Putaruru.
