WORKER'S HAND CRUSHED.

Crushed between two poles while assisting to unload the Kairanga on the King's wharf yesterday afternoon, Thomas Miles, aged 50, married, of 58, Miller Road, Point Chevalier, a waterside worker, had three fingers of his right hand severed. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by St. ' John ambulance.
