How Much Did You Know?

Results of Our General Knowledge Test Our general knowledge test certainly brought forth some amusing answers, and some surprises, too. Although this competition was not as heavily contested as it was expected it would be, nevertheless, entries were quite up to standard. Question No. 5 evidently puzzled more than one entrant, as evidenced by the variety of answers. Many seemed in doubt as to the "Swedish Nightingale's" last name—one competitor listed her as Jenny "Wren" and another as "Sonia Heinic." The answer to No. 3 is the "mantilla." but readers were not very Correct in stating where this was worn. Only twenty of the winning entries were entirely correct, so the four neatest out of the pile of "sixes" were selected. Qiis is in keeping with our usual policy of selecting winners from the neatest lists. Here are the names of the twenty-four lucky winners:— Owen Claridge, Aucklnnd, age 12, boy's purse.
