NELSON BEATEN BY 342 RUNS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NELSON, Tuesday. Manawatu defeated Nelson by a margin of 342 runs in the Hawke Cup elimination match to-day. Manawatu made 337 and 857 for seven wickets, declared, against Nelson's 191 anil 161 (Wilde 37, Vass 48, McGirr 21, Glover 2<» not out I. Pritchard took five wickets for 51 and Gallß-han four for 43 in Nelson's second innings. Pritchard. who is regarded as one of the certainties for the New Zealand team to play Sir Julien Cahn's eleven at Wellington on March 10, 11 and 13. took seven for 6.S (including the hat-trick) in Nelson's first innings.
