MAUI POMARE DELAYED.
MllfOll BKGimS TROTJTBLE. <By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Government motor ship Maui Pomare, which loft Wellington at five o clock this evening for Apia and Niue Island, put back from the heads and anchored in Worser Bay for enrine adjustments: Recently the Maui Pomare had undergone overhaul and survey at Wellington and was making her first voyage after the resumption of the service. An officer of the External Affairs Department stated to-night that the vessel had put into the bay to make some adjustments to her machinery. The trouble was not serious.
