THROWN THROUGH WINDSCREEN, Concussion and head injuries were suffered by Mr. Walter Houston. a£d 36. marned, a carrier, of Thomas tlroth H t? derSOn -, When ™* «™* thrm.gh the windscreen of his lorrv vh.le at work at Henderson this mornrig. M r . Houston was working in a hay field when his Wry began to move down a slope, unattended. He jumped on to the running board, but before he could apply the brakes the vehicle had crashed into a tree with such force that he was thrown forward through the windscreen. He was attended 6V Dr. Rhoda Robb, of Henderson, and ZT •* i*?ook 6! k6 T n *° the Auckland Hospital by St. John ambulance His condition this afternoon was considered serious.
