N.Z. BOY SCOUTS IN SYDNEY. PRAISE FOR DOCTORS. (By Telegraph.—.Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The chief commissioner of boy scouts in New Zealand, Mr. H. Christie, returned by the Awatea from Sydney with 311 scouts and 28 lady cubmasters in charge of Mr. T. Mclvor, metropolitan commissioner, Christchurch. He said* the New Zealand boys had created a favourable impression and acquitted themselves splendidly. Mr. Christie praised the work of the two doctors, especially in detecting the incipient outbreak of measles on the way over. Their services, he said, were most valuable and when they arrived in camp, instead of resting and making excursions, they joined the medical staff and worked throughout as camp doctors. Captain Davey of the Awatea, li: added, had been made the recipient of the scout "Thanks Badge." Mr. Christie said he trusted parents would feel that the sacrifices they hadi made to give their boys the trip had been worth while.
