Margaretta Byers, author of "Designing "IVomen," which admits you into a well-laid plot to deceive with dress and make-up, has made a study of both honest and deceptive waistlines. She is convinced, from experience in fashion and beauty salons, that one can look as
slender as the other. The trick depends upon good posture, exercise, and rules of optical illusion, applied to diess.
