MOUNT EDEN SWIMMERS.

SECOND CARNIVAL OF SEASON. Auckland's foremost swimmers will be seen in action at the Mount Eden Amateur Swimming and Life-saving Club's carnival at the Bellevue Road baths next Tuesday evening. The well-arranged programme should provide keen competition and attract a large attendance of spectators. In the 500 yds lnter-club relay championship, each team comprises 15 competitors. Swimming of a high order should be witnessed in the three open events over distances of 50yds. 100 yds and 220 yds. The ladies' and junior events should result in some close finishes.
