LONDON SALES CONTINUE. CROSSBREDS IN DEMAND. LONDON, January 19. A. t the wool sales 9522 bales were offered, including 4727 bales of New Zealand; 8022 bales were sold. There was a moderate selection, and the demand was active the home trade bidding freely for •New Zealand crossbreds, which were well cleared. _ Withdrawals were frequent among inferiors owing to firm limits. Kates generally were well maintained. .New Zealand greasy crossbred "JDW/Ngatapa," 9%d to 10% d. THE BANK'S REPORT. The Bank of New Zealand ha» received the following advice from its London office date January 20:—"The London wopl sales contanue with widening competition. There is a good demand for medium and coarse crossbreds, but prices are somewhat irregular.
