WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist Issued «• the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following , special weather forecast for the Au ok land province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Taurange:— Light to moderate and rather variable winds, with south to east predominating. Weather fair at first, but cloud inoreaaing and later aeattered rains developing. Temperaturee mild. Beaa alight to moderate. The anti-cyclone west of the North Island is losing intensity and conditions are disturbed In the western Tasman Sea. HAURMU GULF CONDITIOIIS. The following report of weather conditione in the Haurakl Gulf was recsived from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, aouth-eouth-weet, light; eea, smooth; weather, fine, with aeattered clouda; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
