PIG IRON DISPUTE. Meeting* Of Unions Recommends Acceptance of Terms. PORT KEMBLA TROUBLE. (Received 15 noon/) SYDNEY, this day. New hope for the settlement of the Port Kembla dispute over the shipment of pig iron to the Far East arose when a meeting of unions at WollongoDg last night unanimously recommended acceptance of the terms providing for the loading of the Onlfram, the withdrawal of wharf licenses, and a deputation to the Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, and Mr. R. G. Menzies, Attorney-General to discuss the future export of pig iron. A vital meeting of the Port Kembla waterside workers will be held on Saturday to decide whether the terms me acceptable. Negotiations for the settlement of Hie dispute will be renewed between the Federal authorities and the workers on Tuesday.
