Storing of Food Not Thought Necessary. BRITISH GOVERNMENT VIEW. (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, January 19. Sir Auckland Geddes' speech advising housewives to store, food in case of emergency, does not express the Government view, which is "do not hoard, ft is not necessary," says the "Daily Mail." A food defence plans committeeman said that Sir Auckland Geddes was merely voicing his personal views.
