Australian salted is quoted at 122,' aiid ununited 124/, Cheeae ia quiet, with priced as follows: Xew Zealand white and coloured, 69/6 to 70/ per cwt; Australian white, 64/ to 05/, and coloured 03/ to 66/. The price of NeVr Zealand butter rose to 127/ per ewt eurly in the week, the highest of the season, showing an advanr-e of 21/ «ince December 1. The present price, though alightly lower, ta still ibove tho guarantee which i* equivalent to 124'3 per cwt landed in London. The improvement in the market has been due to smaller Australian supplies and new# of further reductions in shipmentM from the Commonwealth, owing to a sharp fall in production.
