Possession of it will be decided on play in a variety of competitions over five weeks, and last week-end Kirkby Wilson did the first turn with a 40 Stableford. This earned him 10 points—B points being awarded to any card equal to the scratch score. Always able to play a fair percentage of holes much better than a 20 handicapper. Wilson was consistent on Saturday last, and reaped the benefit. Incidentally it gave the liandicapper a chance to bring his handicap down to 16. The best round of the day was that of K. M. Wilson with a 72. the scratch score of the course.
