OPENING SESSION. (Deceived 32..50 p.m.) SYDNEY, this day. One hundred and fifty delegntes from all parts of Australia, New Zealand. Britain and the United States attended the first session at Sydney of the recently-formed Koyal Australasian College of Physicians.
At a scientific session, papers were read 011 a variety of specialised subjects.
Professor Carnialt Jones, of Otngo University, at the subsequent dinner, proposing the toast of the Governments of the Commonwealth States and the Dominion of New Zealand, welcomed tinfoundation of the college, and complimented the Government of New South Wales on the valuable assistance it had given to the college by a grant ot £i2.>.(M)l) towards the construction of the college headquarters at Sydney.
