BRIDGE PARTIES.
Mrs. A. C. Wood entertained some friends at a bridge afternoon yesterday in a section of George Court jithl Sons' tearooms. Iceland poppies were the flowers which made a colourful picture on the tea table.
The guests included: Mrs C. Wood, Mrs. IJ.. Henry, Mrs. 1). Young, Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. J. Tibl>etts, Mrs. A. Joplin, Mrs. J. Haslett. Mrs. S. Foote. Mr<. K. Peat, Mrs. S. Magill, Mrs. Wallace, Mrs. Hartnian. Mrs. R. Coburn, Mrs. Less Gibbs, Airs. S. A. Robertson, Mrs. A. Whyte.
An enjoyable afternoon was given by Miss Sisley yesterday, when she entertained a number of friends in the private room of George Court and Sons' tearooms. The tea table and hall were decorated with high crystal vases of multi-coloured carnations.
