I The object }* to provide an additional i the Wairarana Bonm* m the southern portion of its •rear, apt to->raake ayailablf. a third tranamiaaion line between the power ■tationa at Mangahao and Waikaremoana and the city of Wellington. • The line will provide an alternative route of aupply to the Wairarapa Board, which at preaent ia aeryed by a singlecircuit line running south from Woodville. The erection of the line, which will extend over 38 miles, ia expected to occupy about a year.
