SPRANG A LEAK.
MOTOR SHIP MAUI POMARE APIA, December 2. The Government motor ship Maui j Pomare sprang a leak while in harboui e here. It has now been repaired and the vessel will sail at midnight with a fill quota of bananas and mail, but no pas senders. A call will be made at Nine as usual ' After discharging cargo from th< Islands at southern ports, the Man Pomare left Wellington for N'iue ant Apia on November 23. She wai scheduled to arrive back in Wellingtoi on Monday,' December 12. It is usua h for the vessel to call at Xiue on tin i. voyage to Wellington, and her arriva «1 in the Dominion will be slightly delayw by the mishap at Apia.
