UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE.
Just over 1000 candidates are sitting in the Auckland examination centres for the University entrance examinations. These students are under the supervision of the Rev. J. A. Greenwood, and of this number 03 are sitting for University entrance scholarships. The examinations began on Thursday and will end on December 12. The main examination centre is at Auckland University College and the outside centres are Auckland Girls' Grammar School, Epsom Girls' Grammar School, King's College. Sacred Heart College, Takapuna Grammar School and North cote District High i School. Pupils from Otahuhu Technical 1 High School ait at King** College.
