NOMINATIONS - TRANSFERS
POLICE FORCE CHANGES.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Several promotions and transfers in the Police Force are announced. Sergeant A. Henderson, of Tauranga, has been promoted to senior-sergeant and will suceed the late Senior-Sergeant E. A. Finch at Whangarei.
Detective-Sergeant T. G. Holmes, of Dunedhi, becomes a senior detective and remains in charge of the detective branch at Dunedin.
Sergeant T. Edwards, of Wellington South, is to take charge at Tauranga and Senior-Sorgeant E. Qua vie. of (ireymouth. is transferred to the Mount Cook station, Wellington. Detective-Sergeant J. Hiekerdike, of Christehurch, is promoted to seniorsergeant in the uniform branch, succeeding Senior-Sergeant Quayle fit (ireyuiouth. Sergeant G. J. Paine, in charge of the training school at Wellington, is promoted to Mnior-sergeaot* '
