Mr. Chamberlain's Visit To Italy. "BEGINNING OF NEW ERA." * British Official Wireless. (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, November 29. Welcoming the announcement that Mr. Chamberlain and Viscount Halifax are to pay a visit to Rome during the Parliamentary recess, "The Times" says that the , Italo-British agreement is manifestly the beginning of a new era as well as the closing of an old one, and Mr. Chamberlain and Viscount Halifax are going to inaugurate it with' Signor Mussolini in person* "The Times" continues: "When the British Ministers reach Rome 'there will be much to discuss, notably Spain and colonial collaboration. Spain is certainly a case where the views of Italy and Britain are not identical, but that is all the more reason for talking them over, and if the talks have a successful outcome, they undoubtedly will not be of benefit to Britain and Italy alone."
