WEATHER FORECAST.

FOR CITY AKD PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist Issued to the " Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to ae far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Winds between east and north, mainly moderate to fresh, but strong in some exposed positions. Weather cloudy, muggy and in places misty, j with occasional but mainly light rain, i Seas rather rough to rough on the I east coast and slight to moderate on I the west coast. Pressure is still high to the east of New Zealand, while an extensive depression covers the Taeman Sea. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Haurakt Gulf waa received from Tiritiri Island it noon to-day:— Wind, north-north-east, fresh; sea, rough; weather, overcast, with misty showers; visibility, poor; barometer, steady.
