INSURANCE CO. APPOINTMENT.
Mr. R. r. fhapple. F.A.1.1.. manager of the guecnsland brunch of the Prudential Assurance Co.. Ltd.. has been appointed to tho newly-created position of agency manager for Australia and Now Zealand, with headquarter* in Sydney. Mr. Chappie was president of the Insurance Institute of New South Wiilo* in ll)->s. and in 1030 wns president of the Queensland Insurance Institute. In Brisbane he w«s a member of the council of the Chamber <>f Commerce and of the Queensland Bush Children's Health Scheme, a director of the Hrisbane Rotary ( lub and a vice-president of the C'liliiiiiidrn Surf Life-saving Club, besides being an active meml-r of tlie H'i-liiiiii' ( lull, tlie |{ii\hl (Queensland Golf Club and the Legacy Club.
