KOPARA FOR EAST COAST RUN.

The Canadian Australasian Royal Mail steamer Niagara, which arrived early yesterday morning from Sydney with 280 passengers, sailed for Vancouver, via Suva, Honolulu and Victoria, 8.C., at 140 p.m. to-day. She is due at Suva on Fridav, Honolulu on December 9, and Vancouver on December 16. The Union Company's express intercolonial liner Awatea will arrive from Sydney, via. Wellington, at 7.30 a.m. to-morrow and will berth at Queen's wharf at eight o'clock. She sails at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Sydney, where she is due on Saturday morning, sailing the frame evening for Wellington. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Rolonia. completed her home loading last night end sailed shortly after seven o'clock this morning for* London and west coast ports. She is going via Panama and took 2.1 passengers, mails and general cargo, being due at London on January 7. The Richardson Line's new motor cargo ship Kopara, which arrived from Leith, via Antwerp, Lyttelton and Wellington, last Friday, will eail late tonight on her inaugural run to east coast ports, for which service she was specially built. This veeeel is of 679 tons register, her twin Diesel motors giving her an average speed of 13 knots. Captain D. Wallace is in command, with Mr. "R. Watts as chief officer and Mr. W. McNabb as chief engineer. Messrs. Watkin and Walli* are local agents. Glenbank will arrive at 7 a.m. to-mor-row from Java with a cargo of raw sugar for discharge at Chelsea. (Spedding, Ltd.)

Port Whangarei arrived at noon today from Dunedin and will sail on Friday for Suva to load fruit for Auckland under Union Company's charter. (U.S.S. Co.)

Naumburg, of the Hamburg-Amerika Line, will arrive at 8 a.m. to-morrow from Port Pirie. She will go to anchor until December 10, when she commences loading wool for the Continent. (H and M.)
