Sparks 57 not out; bowling. Verity seven for 73, Wilkinson two for 66). M.C.C, 412 for eix wickpts, declared (Yardley 182 not out, Bartlett 100; bowling, H. Sparks four for 89). The next game is against Natal and starts at Durban on Saturday. The first Test will be played at Johannesburg on December 24, 26, 27, 28.
