YORKSHIRE SOCIETY.
A successful evening was held at the! Yorkshire Society's last meeting. Meml>ers and friend* were welcomed by Mrs. H. G. Staley and Mrs. D. Ashworth. Sir. and Mrs. Webster, of the Kentish Society, were guests of the club for the evening. Musical items were rendered by the newly-formed Yorkshire Society. The choir was under the direction of one of the mem hers. Mr. Walker. Prizes were presented by Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Clement, two foundation members, who were afterwards congratulated by the president and member* upon the recent celebration of their silver wedding. Prizewinners were: Cards, Mr. and Mrs. Shaw; Monte Carlo. Mrs. Mawson and Mrs. Bishop; lucky number, Mr. R. Banks.
