The Berlin representative of the British Lnited Press learns that Sir Oswald Mosley, formerly Socialist M.P. and now leader of the British Fascists, was married on December , 4, 1937, to the Hon. Diana, sister of the Hon. Unity Slit ford, daughter of Lord Redesdale, and who is also a close friend of Herr Hitler. They were married in the reception room of Herr Hitler's private offices, Fueh- 1 rer Building, Munich. 1 I
Herr Hitler was best man and the Lord Mayor of Munich, Herr Karl Fiehler, solemnised the marriage and filed a certificate privately in the City Hall. Sir Oswald Mosley, the British Fascist leader, \vw educated at Winchester and I Sandhurst. He served in the War, and : was formerly in the 16th Lancers. He | married Lady Cynthia Curzon, daughter of the late Marquees of Curzon. He joined I the Labour party in 1924, and represented Sinethwick for several years, but resigned office in 1930 owing to a disagreement as • j to the unemployment policy, and severed : liis connection with the Parliamentary Labour party in 1931. Lady Cynthia Mosley <lied in 11)33. In the Labour Cabinet Sir Oswald Mosley was Chancellor to the Duchy of Lancaster. The Hon. Unity Milford is an en- ! tluisiastic Xa/.i. and recently was the > i cause of a disturbance in London.
