REBUILDING BRIDGE AT SCENE OF FATAL MIDNIGHT CRASH.—A temporary bridge has been erected at the sue of the accident on the night of November 19 at the bridge over the Hautapu Stream, thirteen miles north of Taihape, when four members of the Royal New Zealand Artillery lost their lives and seven others Were injured. The bridge, which n>as opened for traffic last Friday and is built a little Way up stream from the one which was destroyed, is here seen with the approaches of the old bridge in the background.
