POSITION IN LONDON. BUTTER STILL LOW. BUT SLIGHTLY MORE ACTIVE. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, November 27. Commodities are quiet with politics damping speculation. The general index siious business activity at about 104, which is about tiie level of April last. Butter is siigbtly more active, but buyers aie resisting efforts to lift prices. IV,id store stocks are 858.000 boxes, which is 71.000 lower than last week, but still double last year. Some holders are willing tn take lower . pi iei-s. thus tending to keep the market | easy. New Zealand is quoted at 103 to .1104.' per cwt, Australian 100'. Cheese is . j very quiet.
