REMOVING ROAD DANGER
TAR TO STOP DUST CLOUDS. (From Our Correspondent.) TAUPO. Sunday. Many complaints regarding the serious dust nuisance were received last year from -motorists using the road between Taupo and Wairakei. on the main highway between Taupo and Rotorua. Tlie Public Works Department, in an endeavour to improve road safety, has a large staff of men at present engaged on the preparatory work of tarsealing two sections of the road. One section is two and a half miles long, commencing one mile from Taupo, while the other is ten chains in length, is front of the Wairakei HoteL
