LONDOJII WOOL SALES. CROSSBRED VALUES EASIER. (Received ]1 a.m.) LONDON, Novomlier 2">. At the London wool sales to-dav 7003 bales were offered, including 1584 New Zealand; <>180 were sold. There was a good selection, chiefly Merinos, which met with a keen demand. Slipes sold at recent levels, but greasy crossbreds were often in buyers' favour. Banks' Cables. The Bank of New Zealand's cable states: — Compared with the opening of the sales competition is widening, but prices for greasy crossbreds are slightly easier. Current quotations are:—New Zealand greasy—Merinos: Super, tfO-64's, 14d--14 id per lb; ordinary, 60-64's, 11MI:JJd per lb; inferior. f)O-04's, 9d-9Jd per lb. Tlalfbreds: 56-58's, 12d-124d per lb; "Mi's, ]Hd-12d per lb; f>o-f»(i's. I I<l-1 I A<l per lb.
