SHOPLIFTING CHARGE. Charged with Ihe theft of a lady'* hat and two books of n total value "of 1.1/. An nil- Lyons, aged 4J. appeared in the Police Court before justices this morning. On the application of Detective-Ser-geant. Trethewey, accused, for whom Mr. Selwyn Clarke appeared, was remanded until Thursday. Bail, £50, was allowed.
