YOUNG GYMNASTS.

KING'S SCHOOL. GIRBOXS SRNIOR CHAMPION. The King's School gymnasium champion ships were held yesterday. Owing to thi death this week of the founder of the school Mr. C. T. Major, the social function, whicl usually follows the contests, was curtailed The judge for the competitions was Mr V. F. Maxwell, of the staff of King's Col lege, who was a former head boy and gym nasium champion. Following were the results :— Senior Gymnastics.—C. S. Gibbons, 1 W. Bedlington. 2 ; R. C. Savage. 3. Junior Gymnastics.—D. G. Steward, 1 J. I>. Home, 2 ; D. G. R. Dawe, 3. The gymnasium events were followed b; a display of physical drill and recreationa exercises under the direction of Cadet 1 Sergeant D. K. Ower.
