DOMINION BREWERIESj. | HIGHER INTERIM DIVIDEND. Iho directors of Dominion Breweries, Ltd.. have declared an interim dividend •It the rate of 1] per cent per annum. payable <m December 16. Last year's interim was at 10 per cent per annum. ASHBURTON GAS CO. DIVIDEND 7 PER CENT. A dividend of 7 per cent was declared at the annual meeting of the Ashburton Gas. ( oal and Coke Co.. Ltd.. yesterday, when the cliairman (Mr. W. B. W. Bell, chairman of directors) congratulated shareholders on the satisfactory result of the year's operations, which ' showed a slightly higher increase in profits than hist yea r. The company was formed in IS7B. and on behalf of tile directors the chairman extended congratulations on the attainment of its diamond jubilee. McKENZI E'S INTERIM DIVIDEND. The .Auckland Stock Exchange has r-e----cr-ived advice that the directors of McKetizie's Department Stores, Ltd.. Jiavo declared an interim dividend of 7 per cent. The interim dividend last year was !) per nt. and the amount for tile full vear was IS per cent.
