MAORI BEBIOUSLT INJURED. (From Our Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE. Friday. Concussion and an injury to the head were suffered by a Maori, Mr. B. Solomon. aged 32. married, a labourer, of Patumahoe, when he #an knocked down by a motor car driven by Mrs. E. M. Kus-ell. of Pukekohe. ill King Street. I'ukckohe. this mornin;;. The injured man was pinned under the ear, which had to be jacked U|> U'fore lie could be released. After recehing attention in a shop nearby, he was taken to the Auckland Hospital by taxi. His conditio*! last night was reported to lie fairly serious.
