SOCIAL EVENING.
THAMES GIRLS' CLUB.
A pleasant dance and card evening was held by the Thames Girls' Club (Incorporated) yesterday in the Druids' Hall, Newton. The president, Mrs. H. Stubbing, assisted by Mns. A. Bowyer, vice-president, welcomed the gueets. Assisting members of the committee were Mesdames Thorbnrn, Wheeler, Andrews, McPherson, Xicholls, Williams, Wright and Mim K. Rowlings.
Among the guests were: Mesdamee R. C. Hunt, Herevel, Brosnan, Simpson, M. Wheeler, D. Biwh, Park, Holliwell, Tonge, M. Wheaton, M. Hitchens, Preston, Mac Donald, Peak* Nicol, Lowden, McGaw, Boyd, Xeare, Wigga, Dunn, D. Jones, Larson, Misses Agnes Andrews, Joyce Duet in, Bonnie Stubbing, Osborne, Vineta Boyd, Alwyth Dunn, Doris Inglis, Catherine Ellis, E. Smith, Joyce Williams, D. Hitchene, Val Dewar, Peggy Pattison, Joy Helmbrecht, Vaughan Roger, Robina Benns.
