ENORMOUS METEOR.
MIDNIGHT SPECTACLE.
A very beautiful but awe-inspiring display was seen in the eastern heavens about midnight, last night, when an enormous meteor flashed across the skies. The whole countryside was lit up like day, and then three large red, glowing masses of fire, torpedo-shaped, fell to earth, followed by an eerie green light.
