The cartridges are carried in the curved magazine on top °t the gun; each magazine holds thirty cartridges, and,
allowing for the time necessary to change the magazines, a man should be able to loose off 120 rounds a minute. The range is about 1000 yards. There are two barrels with each gun; when the first barrel gets overheated you start on the spare one. The " ren B ot its name from two towns, Brno, in Czechoslovakia, where it was first made, and Enfield, England, where it is now made.
