SANCTUARY FOR BEAVERS.
(From Our Own Correspondent.)
QUEBEC.
In the far northern district, the Quebec Government plans to re-estab-lish the beaver. The Federal Government will hire Indians to trap beavers and transport them to a 1000-square-mile sanctuary south-east of Hudson Bay. After a census shows 2000 thriving beaver families, Indians will be allowed to hunt them.
