SNOOKER TITLE.
SEMI-FINALS DECIDED. As a result of last night's matched in the Auckland provincial amateur snooker championship L. F. W. Holdsworth and M. D. White are to contest the final this evening—the best three games out of five. The semi-finals resulted:— Holdsworth beat J. Proctor, by two names to nil. The score in the first was 64—57. In the second Proctor required a snooker with the colours on the table, but in spite of his fine uphill game he was unable to make up the leeway. White beat E. C. Sutton 88—27, 39—70, 60—51.
