WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the " Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecaat for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Tauranga and Kawhia:— Light to moderate and variable winds, with easterly predominating. Weather One and pleasant during the day, but cool night temperatures. Sea slight to moderate. Pressure has risen in the south, but otherwise there has been litUe change in the New Zealand area. The depression over the Taeman Sea has filled up. HAURAKI GULP CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritirl Island at noon to-day:— Wind, east, moderate; eea, smooth; weather, fine; vieibility, good: barometer, -steady.
