(By Tclcgrajiti.—Press Association.) ASHBURTOX, Friday. In the Magistrate's Court, Andrew William Wright, agent at Mayfield for a hotel at Methven, was fined a total of £30, made .up of £10 on a charge of having sold liquor without' a license and £10 on each of two charges of having assisted the licensee of the hotel to sell liquor to a person under the age of 21. The defence was that 84 bottles of- liquor without label* which were seised by the police, were parts of orders not taken over by customers. Two charges against the Heensee, W. J Hallidav, of having sold liquor to a person apparently under the age of tl hinging on Wright's case, were withdrawn, the magistrate holding that the youths concerned could be regarded as appearing to be 21 yews of age.
